Hi, I’m Julie, a professional and experienced freelance make-up artist.

 

With a creative streak running back to a young age, it's no surprise that make-up would turn out to be my dream career.

 

My training began at Dublin's Portobello Institute in 2003, where I spent a year studying Fashion, Theatre, Media Makeup & Special Effects. Soon after, I began working with major cosmetic brands including Laura Mercier, Giorgio Armani Cosmetics, Chanel and Dior. These years gave me invaluable experience working with every skin type, tone, and age.

This knowledge has served me well in many areas, whether I'm making personal clients feel and look their absolute best for weddings and other special events, or working on commercial projects such as advertising, corporate events, film/TV, and theatre.

After 15 years in the business, it's important to keep my skill set fresh, so I regularly train with globally renowned artists. Recent opportunities include sessions with James Molloy, Danessa Myricks, James Vincent, and Stuart Bray.

 

Having worked with some of Dublin’s top salons, I am now focusing attention on my growing client base so please get in touch if you like what you see.
